SYMJEPI, offered to Federal Healthcare @ TPR of $130.00, is the Epinephrine Injector that does not require Deep-Pockets. SYMJEPI is indicated in the emergency treatment of allergic reactions (Type 1) including anaphylaxis to stinging insects (e.g., order Hymenoptera, which include bees, wasps, hornets, yellow jackets and fire ants) and biting insects (e.g., triatoma, mosquitoes), allergen immunotherapy, foods, drugs, diagnostic testing substances (e.g., radiocontrast media) and other allergens, as well as idiopathic anaphylaxis or exercise-induced anaphylaxis. SYMJEPI is available on DoD Uniform Formulary, VA National Formulary, & IHS National Core Formulary. 1 out of 2 people DO NOT have their epinephrine auto-injector (EAI*) with them at all times. SIZE is a common reason why. SYMJEPI is 2" shorter than the most widely used EAI, fitting easily in pocket or purse when you're on the go. It Delivers 1 dose of epinephrine in an emergency allergic reaction situation, with a thinner needle than the most commonly used EAI.
