Advanced Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT-Adv)

Pharmacy Technician Certification Board

CPhTs who earn the CPhT-Adv Certification are recognized for their expertise and experience, and demonstrate an unwavering commitment to advancing medication safety. A candidate must hold an active PTCB CPhT Certification and have completed: ​✔ at least 3 years of work experience as a pharmacy technician within the past 8 years, and ​✔ at least four PTCB Assessment-Based Certificate Programs (must include TPV or Medication History), or three Certificate Programs (must include TPV or Medication History) and the Compounded Sterile Preparation Technician® (CSPT®) Certification.
