Adriene Zook, PharmD is the Regional Manager for Geisinger Ambulatory Pharmacy Programs within the Central Region. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Philadelphia College of Pharmacy in 2011 and then became employed with Geisinger Health System as a clinical ambulatory care pharmacist upon graduation. She practiced in the Lycoming Geisinger Medical Group with the family practice providers having a strong focus and interest in diabetes management for the early part of her career before moving into her present role as the Central Region Pharmacy Manager in August 2019. Managing a patient panel of nearly 400 patients when in practice, Adriene enjoyed leveraging insulin pump technology for her patients with diabetes to allow them to regain lifestyle and independence from the disease, this is what gave her great joy in treating this specific patient population. When Adriene is not teaching or educating her patients, pharmacy team, or medical colleagues, she enjoys spending her time outdoors with her husband and 2 children either in the garden or working on their family hobby farm raising Devon beef cattle.
