Board Certified Nuclear Pharmacist (BCNP) and Authorized Nuclear Pharmacist (ANP) in good standing with over 35 years’ experience in developing and supplying radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging and therapy, including preparation of special radioactive sources required in the development, evaluation and quality assessment of new nuclear medicine imaging systems. Responsible for the management of the procurement, formulation, quality control testing, and dispensing of all radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic, therapeutic, and research purposes for use in patients and research subjects at Duke University Medical Center. Member of the Duke Radiology Management Team and the Radiation Safety Committee. Research interests focus on development and clinical evaluation of diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals for patient care. Specific interests include radiolabeling antibodies, small molecules and peptides for diagnosis and therapy of human cancers such as thyroid, neuroendocrine, brain, prostate, and breast. Clinical interests focus on the development of team based radiotheranostic care models in nuclear medicine to optimize patient health related quality of life and achieve positive clinical outcomes, within realistic economic expenditures.
